2. Which massage is right for me?
- Choose Swedish if: You want to de-stress, relieve general muscle soreness, and experience classic, deep relaxation. It's an excellent choice for first-time massage clients.
- Choose Traditional Thai if: You feel stiff, lack energy, or want to improve your flexibility and range of motion. It's fantastic for those who enjoy deep stretching and a more invigorating, therapeutic experience without oil.
- Choose Thai Oil if: You want the "best of both worlds." It's perfect if you love the idea of Thai acupressure but prefer the relaxing, flowing feel of an oil massage performed on a table.
-
Choose Deep Tissue if: You are experiencing chronic muscle tension, knots, or persistent aches. It's ideal for alleviating chronic pain, improving range of motion, and aiding recovery from strenuous physical activity, by focusing on deeper muscle layers.
-
Choose Aromatherapy if: You seek a holistic experience to uplift your spirits, soothe your senses, and harmonize mind and body. This gentle massage, enhanced with essential oils, is perfect for reducing anxiety, promoting profound relaxation, and improving overall well-being.

Your Appointment: Before & During
4. What should I wear for my massage?
- For a Swedish or Thai Oil Massage: You will undress to your level of comfort. Most clients undress to their underwear. You will be professionally draped with towels at all times, with only the area being worked on exposed.
- For a Traditional Thai Massage: You can remain fully clothed. Please wear or bring loose, comfortable clothing that allows for a full range of movement, such as gym wear, a t-shirt and tracksuit bottoms, or yoga attire. Avoid jeans or restrictive clothing.
5. I've never had a professional massage before. What should I expect?
Welcome! Your therapist will begin with a brief, confidential consultation to discuss your needs, any health concerns, and what you hope to achieve from the session. They will explain the process and answer any last-minute questions. Your comfort is our top priority, and we will ensure you feel safe and relaxed throughout.
6. Will the massage hurt?
Massage should not be painful. In all therapies, the pressure can be adjusted to your preference. While deeper techniques or stretches may feel intense, they should never be sharply painful.
Crucially, you are in control. Please always feel empowered to let your therapist know if you'd like the pressure adjusted at any time.
7. Can I talk during my session?
Absolutely, it's your time. Some people prefer to chat, while others close their eyes and relax in silence. Your therapist will generally follow your lead. The only essential communication is letting us know if you are uncomfortable in any way.
Booking & Health
8. How do I book an appointment?
You can book your appointment by clicking the buttons below. Then select the style and duration of massage you require.
9. Do I need to tell you about my health conditions or injuries?
Yes, this is essential for your safety. Before your session, you must inform your therapist about any medical conditions, including but not limited to:
- Recent injuries or surgeries
- Skin conditions
- High/low blood pressure
- Heart conditions
- Pregnancy
- Varicose veins
This allows the therapist to adapt the massage to your specific needs and avoid any areas that may be sensitive (contraindicated).
10. What is our cancellation policy?
We kindly request a minimum of 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed appointments, may be subject to a cancellation fee.
After Your Massage
11. What should I do after my session?
To get the most from your massage, we recommend you take it easy for a while. Avoid strenuous activity and allow your body to absorb the benefits of the therapy.
12. Why is drinking water so important?
Massage can help stimulate the circulation and release metabolic waste from your muscle tissues. Drinking plenty of water helps your body to process and flush these out, which can reduce post-massage soreness and rehydrate your muscle fibres.
13. Is it normal to feel a bit sore afterwards?
For some people, especially after a deep therapeutic massage, it is possible to feel slightly sore for a day or so. This is a normal muscular response, similar to how you might feel after a good workout. Drinking water and gentle stretching can help.
We hope this has answered your questions! If there's anything else you'd like to know, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
